Katy Perry Is That You?
Comedian/actor Russell Brand is known for his off the wall sense of humor, but he might be the only one laughing in his household today after at his latest joke.
Brand sent out a pic of his wife Katy Perry in bed sans makeup to his 1.7 million Twitter followers. He quickly deleted it, but it’s now all over the net.
Perry can’t be happy, the "California Gurls" singer is rarely seen without her face looking flawless, thanks to her makeup artists.
WILLOW SMITH'S ROC NATION DEAL EXPOSED, "SHE'S AN EMPLOYEE OF WILL SMITH"
Willow Smith knows her place -- she's a daughter/employee of Will Smith. TMZ has obtained documents filed by Roc Nation, Willow's record label owned by Jay-Z. According to the docs, Roc Nation entered into a recording agreement with Spooky Girl, Inc. "for exclusive recording and entertainment services of Willow Smith." Spooky Girl is Willow's company -- sort of. You see, the Prez of Spooky Girl is Will, and Willow is listed as an "employee." And it gets more interesting, because Jada Pinkett Smith is listed as Willow's guardian. Will can't list himself as a parent or guardian because it conflicts with his duties as president of Spooky Girl. So legally speaking, Jada protects Willow from Will! (TMZ)

MTV had announced that the "Jersey Shore" star would be placed inside a giant ball and lowered onto the network's rooftop deck to ring in the New Year on Dec. 31 as part of MTV's "New Year's Bash" special.

Thief tunnels into Manhattan home and steals $750K worth of art
Police are looking for the person who tunneled through a wall into a New York City apartment while the owner was away around Thanksgiving and made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of artworks by Andy Warhol and other notable artists. They say the thief broke through a hallway wall into the Manhattan apartment and stole limited-edition artworks, watches and other jewelry worth a total of about $750,000. A video recorder connected to surveillance cameras also was taken. SCANDALOUS!
The stolen items include the Roy Lichtenstein prints “Thinking Nude” and “Moonscape,” the Carl Fudge oil painting “Live Cat,” the Warhol prints “The Truck” and “Superman” and a set of eight signed Warhol prints in various colors called “Camouflage.”
Police say the burglary took place between Nov. 24 and 28. No arrests had been made as of Friday.

Only The Best For Beyonce

Beyonce got some sweet gifts yesterday. Her husband, Jay-Z, was spotted shopping at Hermes' plush Madison Avenue boutique on Christmas Eve. A spy reports, "Jay was in a private room of Hermes doing last-minute shopping. He had a guard standing watch outside. He spent $350,000 on Birkin bags, among other things." The buying binge took so long, Jay-Z missed his scheduled lunch at Nello, prompting the restaurateur to deliver his food to the store. Jay-Z has plenty to spend -- he's getting $1 million to perform at the opening of the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino in Vegas on New Year's Eve. His rep declined to comment.

Paramore Split Gets Nasty
When Paramore announced this past weekend that they had parted ways with brothers Josh and Zac Farro, they did so by taking a not-so-subtle jab at their former bandmates, writing, “None of us were really shocked. For the past year, it hasn’t seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore … We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy, and if that isn’t here with us, then we support them in finding happiness elsewhere.”

UConn Women Own the Longest Streak
And yet, it is the Connecticut women, not the U.C.L.A. men, who now hold the major-college basketball record for invincibility. The Huskies won their 89th consecutive game Tuesday with a 93-62 throttling of Florida State before a sellout crowd of 16,294 at the XL Center, surpassing the 88 straight won by the U.C.L.A. men, coached by John Wooden, from 1971 to 1974.
How 50 Cent Scored A Half Billion
By the summer of 2003, 50 Cent's debut album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," had sold more than 5 million copies, and he was easily on his way to becoming a multimillionaire on these sales alone. But the rapper from Queens, who was born Curtis Jackson and had begun his career on the reputation of being shot nine times (a bullet was still lodged in his tongue), wasn't content to remain a recording artist. And his young manager, Chris Lighty, himself a Bronx street kid turned businessman, was well-positioned to exploit 50's stardom by creating multiple income streams. Lighty had come out of the Def Jam fold and managed such stars as Missy Elliott and LL Cool J.

Christian Louboutin Has Never Worn Heels- Well, Twice
Attending the Marrakech Film Festival in the unofficial capacity of BFF with the the blonde, French, glamorous festival director, Mélita Toscan du Plantier (after whom he's named a very high-heeled shoe), Christian Louboutin has plenty of his own goings-on to talk about. Among them, his red-soled shoe line turns 20 next year, for which he's painstakingly creating a book. Here, under the Moroccan sun, he borrows my gold-tinted sunglasses (perhaps testing them out for a future line of his own?) and keeps me afoot..

G-Dep Confesses To Murder 17 Years Ago
It took nearly two decades, but the guilt of murder finally became too much for Trevell Coleman. Wednesday night, after years of living with the burden, Coleman, 36, walked into the 25th Precinct and shockingly confessed to the very cold case, the sources said. Coleman, who grew up in the projects, told cops he was riding a bike when he rolled up on Henkel, 32, on Park Avenue and East 114th Street and announced a robbery. Coleman told Detective William Dunn that Henkel resisted and grabbed his .40-caliber gun. He allegedly admitted that he pulled away and shot his victim three times in the chest.

Time Names Mark Zuckerberg 2010 Person of the year
More than anyone else on the world stage, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is at the center of these changes. Born in 1984, the same year the Macintosh computer was launched, he is both a product of his generation and an architect of it. The social-networking platform he invented is closing in on 600 million users. In a single day, about a billion new pieces of content are posted on Facebook. It is the connective tissue for nearly a tenth of the planet. Facebook is now the third largest country on earth and surely has more information about its citizens than any government does. Zuckerberg, a Harvard dropout, is its T-shirt-wearing head of state.

Biggie Smalls: The Voice That Influenced A Generation
"He was on course to just be a brilliant student, college grad, possible doctor, lawyer," he says. "But the pull of the streets — it grabbed him, and he went that route. By 16 he was already gone. Neck deep in it. So him and his mom had a big fallout because he basically stepped off the path." Hubert says there wasn't much Big's mom, a teacher, could do about his choice. "What are you gonna do? Go out to the corner every day and bring him in the house by his ear? It's not gonna happen."
