Jaguar C-X75 Electric Supercar
There are concept cars and then there are ground breaking, mind blowing concept cars that take advanced technologies and find a way to apply them to practical creations. (The use of the word 'practical' when describing the C-X75 must be done with extreme caution).

Navy Seizes Almost 2 Tons Of Cocaine In Carribean
Colombian authorities on Tuesday confiscated more than 1.887 kilos of cocaine from a speedboat in the Caribbean near Acandi, close to the border with Panama.
All five men on board the boat were detained, following a chase by the Caribbean naval force, reports AFP.
A source from the navy told the news agency that the detained men and the drugs, worth $38 million, were taken to the Coast Guard Station of Uraba.
Weapons, communication and navigation equipment were also found on the vessel.
This latest interception follows the seizure by the Colombian navy earlier in September of more than a ton of cocaine that was being transported by motorboat along a river in the Arboletes region in the Antioquia department to the Caribbean.

Later this week, Woods and the 11 other best golfers of the United States will challenge their European counterparts in the Ryder Cup, a biennial tournament that's far closer in atmosphere to an SEC football game than, say, the Masters. Katy Perry sings "Hot N Cold" with Elmo on Sesame Street!
When Katy Perry visited "Sesame Street," Elmo didn't seem to mind her cleavage -- but parents who previewed a version of her singing a rewritten "Hot N Cold" while playing tag with the furry red guy begged to differ.
Seems that sheer fabric that goes from neck to, um, places lower than Katy's neck on her "dress-up clothes" won't cut it as a preschool-appropriate outfit, with show producers Sesame Workshop deciding to pull the segment from the kids show's Sept. 27 season premiere.
"Sesame Street has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult. We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show because we know that a child learns best when co-viewing with a parent or care-giver," the producers said Thursday in a statement.
"We also value our viewer’s opinions and particularly those of parents. In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers. Katy Perry fans will still be able to view the video on You Tube."
You can see the video for yourself above, or on at Katy Perry's YouTube channel. What do you think -- are you screaming "censorship" or pleased that preschoolers won't be getting that view when they get to "Sesame Street"?
We're guessing Perry's fiancé, Russell Brand,is going to agree with Elmo on this one.
Don't Even Think About Complaining In The NBA This Season
During the 2005-06 season the NBA instituted rules that would allow referees to give a player technical fouls at the first sign of a player's disagreement. That lasted for the preseason and then, oh, about six games in to the regular season before things were back to normal and players were complaining their eyes out. Not literally, because that would be gross. Tim Duncan(notes) was close though.

Decoded
Jay-Z first book will feature one of Andy Warhol's Rorschach paintings on its cover, it was announced today. Decoded is a collection of lyrics out in November on Random House's Spiegel & Grau imprint. Warhol's 1984 series of 38 Rorschach paintings was a later-in-life experiment that, to hear him describe it, doesn't sound too far off from this book.

Bruno Mars' Mug Shot
Mars was arrested around 1:50 a.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino -- where he had performed earlier in the night -- for felony possession of 2.6 grams of a "white powdery substance" that tested positive as cocaine. According to the report, a bathroom attendant approached a security officer at the facility to say that there was a man in a bathroom stall who might be using drugs, telling the guard that a male in the bathroom was "taking a really long time." The attendant said he observed the suspect in a striped shirt with a "baggy of white powder substance." The attendant and the security guard approached the suspect as he exited the stall, and the guard ordered Mars to hand over whatever narcotics he had on him. "This is when Hernandez, with his left hand, pulled out a white powder substance, which was consistent with cocaine, from his left-front jeans pocket."

Idol Opinion: Is Jennifer Lopez REALLY Worth $12 Million?
Until recently, J.Lo and her on/off manager Benny Medina had been reportedly negotiating a "vanity deal" that would involve the sometimes-actress developing motion pictures and TV pilots for Fox, on top of a requested $15 million "Idol" salary. Apparently that didn't work out, but Jenny and Benny eventually agreed to a slightly lower, but not too shabby, 12 mil (sans film or television commitments) for her to start judging "Idol" in Season 10.
